There are two levels of the CIT leadership program at Camp Alice Chester. Experience camp as a camper and build your skills as you make a positive impact in girls’ lives.
Teens entering grades 10-12
Begin the journey from camper to staff and discover your leadership potential. Enhance your skills in teambuilding, leading activities and kid savvy responsibility. Plus, participate in everything camp has to offer.
Teens entering grades 11-12
Improve your leadership resume as you spend more time mentoring younger campers. Explore working with campers in different activity areas, teaching new games and being a cool role model. There will still be time with friends for swimming, campfires, and camp visits. After successful completion of CIT II, campers may return to camp during the remaining sessions as a volunteer. More details will be in your confirmation information. Prerequisite: CIT I, plus a sincere desire to work with children and to learn leadership techniques.
Summer Job Opportunities
For teens that are 17 years old they may apply for the Kitchen and Program Assistant position, These campers become camp staff for up to 4 weeks out of the summer. This is a paid position.
