Who goes to Girl Scout Day Camp?

1. Girl Scouts
Camp is for every girl! The day camps listed below are led by volunteers. Each camp is sponsored by a Service Area. However, any girl can attend any camp. Camp is for girls entering grades 1-12.

2. Non Girl Scouts
If a girl wants to come who is not a registered Girl Scout or bring a friend who isn't a current member, that's okay. Girls can register as a Girl Scout when they register for camp. It's that simple! So invite your friends to come along.

3. Adults
Adults are needed as chaperones and unit leaders. They are a critical part of their camper's experience and volunteering allows you and your camper to have quality time together. Some camps have units for volunteers' sons and younger daughters so the whole family can participate.

4. Girls entering grades 1-6 next fall
Day Camp is for all ages of girls. All of the programming is based on the girls' age and abilities so each summer they advance their skills.

5. Girls entering grades 7-12 next fall
Teens and pre-teens practice and build their leadership. They plan and facilitate the stations for the entire week to 'wow' adult volunteers and be role models for the younger campers. Each summer they take on additional responsibilities and leadership as their confidence and skills grow.
