2008 Cookie Program - Cookie Shops and Stores

Cookie Shops

A cookie shop is a way for girls to sell cookies directly to the public at area businesses. Cookie shops are a great way for troops to earn extra money for their troop, but please note that girls do not earn points to be used toward their recognitions. Look for a handout at your troop cookie manager training that will give detailed information on the procedures for participating in a cookie shop in your selling area. This year the troop proceeds on Cookie Shop cookies is 70¢. There will be no returns on Cookie Shop cookies.

Cookie Stores

Troops may get additional cookies after they receive their initial order at several convenient locations.

Troops can obtain additional cookies in one of two ways:

  1. Individual packages may be purchased at $3.50 per box. These packages will not affect the troop selling average.
  2. Cookies may be taken by the case, but the cases can be mixed and these cases will be added to your initial troop order. In other words, cookies must be taken in increments of 12. This will benefit the troop by increasing the selling average, but these cases cannot benefit any individual girl in the troop by increasing her points earned.
