Friday, November 7, 5:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 8,            9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Discovery World, Milwaukee

Girls in grades K-12 and their families can explore interactive opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) at this FREE event. You can also connect with professionals in STEM careers and see robotics teams in action. No Registration is necessary. 

Troops or individual girls accompanied by an adult can register for additional lab opportunities for $5 per girl.
Chapstick Creations (Grades K-5)
Learn about water's role in keeping your lips healthy. In this hands-on experience you'll create your own flavored lip balm to take home!

Mussel Anatomy (Grades K-5)
Make yourself a new clutch inspired by the anatomy of a quagga mussel, one of Lake Michigan's invasive species. You'll be able to walk away with a one of a kind small clutch.

What Floats Your Boat? (Grades K-5)

Through fun hands on activities, girls will learn the parts of a ship, differences in old and new ships, and all about ship building materials. We will also answer the big question: What makes a boat float? Girls will build their own ship and test its buoyancy. Will your boat sink or float?  These fun activities will be led by a group of Marquette Naval ROTC students. 
Noon-1:00 p.m.            1:30-2:30 p.m.                3:00-4:00 p.m.
