Nonprofit/Non-Member Group Use of GSWISE Properties
Nonprofit community groups may reserve facilities at camp up to four months in advance.
For nonprofit organizations, a copy of your IRS determination letter with your 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6) status is required when requesting a site. Government organizations such as schools or universities and Girl Scout troops do not need to provide this documentation.
Private parties (weddings, showers, and etc.) are not permitted at
any GSWISE property.
Nonprofit community groups who request to rent two-level or shared buildings are required to pay for the entire building. GSWISE will not rent shared facilities to Girl Scout troops when others are in the facility. This applies to the following facilities: Seybold Lodge at Camp Pottawatomie Hills, Friendship Center at Camp Winding River, Jo Ann Mann Lodge at Silver Brook Program Center and Bunk Rooms A & B, including the Great Hall at Trefoil Oaks Program Center.
If your group is co-ed, separate sleeping quarters and bathrooms are needed for the males and females. Specific buildings may be required depending on the ratio of males and females.
Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast reserves the right to deny access to an outside group, establish additional restrictions, and/or adjust fees for use of its facilities at any time.
The regulations of the council relating to use at properties must be adhered to. This includes, but is not limited to the prohibition of alcohol and controlled substances, requirements for adult supervision of minors, first aid and CPR/AED certification and a certificate of insurance listing GSWISE as a policy holder during the stay at camp.
