Sign up for this wellness series and get equipped with resources that will help you navigate life when things get tough. We will explore age-appropriate topics such as stress management, anxiety, nutrition, bullying and cyberbullying, how to stay safe online, and create a positive online identity. Well practice things like setting goals, various exercises, breathing techniques, advocating for ourselves, making healthy snacks, managing our time, mindfulness, and coping strategies. Well get crafty and make journals, affirmation posters, and work with art and music therapists to discover strategies that might help us refocus. Well connect with nature, make new friends, and become the best version of ourselves in a safe, inclusive Girl Scout environment. Nobody can snap their fingers and make the world all sunshine and lollipops, but you can take steps to be ready when things get tough. Go get em, Girl Scout!
Upcoming topics, materials, and Zoom link will be emailed to parents one week before each scheduled meeting to help you and your Girl Scout be prepared. When appropriate, materials will be available for parental review prior to the session. Cant attend them all? No worries! Participate as your schedule allows or do the activities (when appropriate) on your own time. Register for the sessions you wish to attend, each session will have separate registration.
