Religious Awards for Adults
While spiritual beliefs are an integral component in the Girl Scout Movement, we do not endorse one religion or philosophy over another. Religious awards are created by the various religious groups to recognize adults for their outstanding service to youth, both through their religious institution and Girl Scouting. The religious groups establish the requirements and approve the candidate’s qualifications for receiving the award. The organization “Programs of Religious Activities with Youth” (PRAY) produces materials providing information on the requirements and nomination procedures for many different faiths. You may also check with your local clergy for information regarding religious recognition programs.
