I-94 Update
Please anticipate and plan for delays when visiting the Marion Chester Read Service Center. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is beginning its construction on the West Leg of the I-94 East-West Freeway Project. Construction is anticipated to last through 2028.
Impacts around our service center include:
- Long-term closure of the 68th St. entrance ramp to I-94 eastbound
- Long-term closure of the I-94 westbound exit ramp to 68th/70th St.
- Long-term closure of the I-94 eastbound and westbound exit ramps to Hawley Rd.
- Permanent closure of the Hawley Rd. entrance ramps to I-94 eastbound and westbound
- Long-term lane closure on I-94 eastbound between 70th St. and General Mitchell Blvd., reducing traffic to two lanes
- Long-term lane closure on I-94 westbound between the Stadium Interchange and 70th St., reducing traffic to two lanes
- Long-term closure of the WIS 175 southbound system ramp to I-94 westbound
