Few things are as memorable for Girl Scouts as going away to camp for the summer. While you may not remember exactly how this rite of passage made you more responsible and independent, or how it gave you an appreciation for nature, you’ll know it did. You’ll explore your passions in a supportive all-girl environment for 2+ nights – it’s what overnight camp is all about.

REGISTER TODAYCamp units are a group of tents, cabins, or a troop house where you will live and sleep. Camp living areas are not air conditioned and most sleeping areas do not have electricity. Units normally have 12-24 campers and two to four counselors. Cabins and tents hold four to six campers each.
Fun! Giggles! Friends! Above all, our goal for you is to have a terrific time. You will meet new people, try different activities, and have fun playing and learning outdoors. There will be campers from different backgrounds and cultures at camp,—we learn from one another and treat everyone with respect and understanding.
Our camp cooks prepare three delicious meals and there are snacks available each day to fuel your adventures. Forone to two meals, you and your group will cook over the campfire! In addition to each meal, you can enjoy a salad bar and bread, as well as sun butter (nut free) and jelly for lunch and dinner. For breakfast, there is always cereal, bread, sun butter, and jelly to eat if you do not feel like eating the breakfast provided. We also accomodate vegan, vegetarian, kosher, gluten-free, lactose-free, and other food allergies/sensitivies.
Being away from home during the day and at night helps build confidence and independence. Doing kapers, trying different activities, learning new skills, and being part of a team will also challenge you and help you grow. But, missing home is normal. Camp is a marvelous place to learn that while you may miss your family, you can still try new activities, make new friends, and have fun! And if you get a little homesick, camp staff is there to support you.

At least two counselors will be with you throughout your entire overnight camp experience. They are adults who have finished high school and most of them are in college. You will also meet lifeguards, specialists, health supervisors, and activity directors will help you and your counselors all day. You’ll be cheered on by talented, experienced, and caring adults who serve as role models and caretakers. Supporting you to be your best, camp staff have a genuine desire to work with Girl Scouts and are trained in areas such as: first aid and CPR, emergency procedures, child development, working through homesickness, team building, and more.
