Camp and Outdoors
Summer Camp 2021: Registration opens at noon on February 25
At Girl Scouts, girls find a safe space where they are free to be themselves, giving her a summer home away from home! Many Girl Scouts report that camp was one of the best things about their Girl Scout experience. Camping is a great way for girls to explore leadership, build skills, and develop a deep appreciation for nature. Whether for a day, a week, or longer, Girl Scout camp gives girls an opportunity to grow, explore, and have fun in a supporting all-girl, girl-led envorionment.
The safety of our campers, staff and volunteers is, and always will be, paramount. For more information regarding how we will work together to keep our community healthy in an COVID-19 environment, please see our most frequently asked camp questions (FAQs) on page 5 of this year's Summer Camp (found above), as well as related FAQs can be found here.
We can't wait to see your girl at camp this year!

Here are the ways your girl can join us at camp this summer (see the menu on the left for further information)!
Day Camp by Community

GSWISE Day Camp
Experience the adventure of camp during the day, while returning to the comforts of home at night. This is a great opportunity to explore new interests! Sessions are five days and located in East Troy.
Alice Chester Overnight Camp
Sessions are five or more nights and each has a special focus. Camp Alice Chester is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream come true! Girls sleep in a troop house, A-frame cabin, or platform tent. Located in East Troy.
A weeklong camp focused on careers as a first responder – law enforcement, fire suppression, and emergency medicine. Girls work alongside the professionals at the Milwaukee Area Technical College Oak Creek campus during the day and spend their nights indoor camping at Trefoil Oaks Program Center in Kenosha.
For more than 100 years, Girl Scouts has been committed to providing every girl with outdoor experiences filled with learning, adventure, and leadership-building opportunities. To continue these meaningful camp experiences for you and future generations of girls, GSWISE has partnered with leading camp consultants in an ongoing project called “Camp Reimagined,” to review our current camp program and properties.
