Have fun for five days at GSWISE Day Camp in East Troy!

GSWISE Day Camp at Camp Alice Chester in East Troy is a fun way to enjoy camp adventures during the day and go home at night. Each week has a special theme: Art, Nature, Sports and Games, STEM, or Performing Arts. You can try new things and discover what you love! Friendly, trained staff will help you with hands-on activities and make sure you have a great time at camp.

Earn Badges

Badges help Girl Scouts celebrate what they've learned and how they've grown! They're a fun way to explore your interests, try new things, and show what you can do. Each week, you can earn a badge that matches the camp theme, and you might even earn parts of other badges too!

New Friends

Fun! Giggles! Friends! Above all, our goal for you is to have a terrific time at camp. You will meet new people, try different activities, and have fun playing and learning outdoors. Campers will build their courage and confidence while making new friendships and learning from other Girl Scouts.

Skill Progression

Within each weekly theme, activities become more challenging as you get older (you got this!). In addition to earning badges, camp traditions–like swimming, boating, target sports, hiking, songs and games, outdoor cooking, and climbing the rock wall–are part of the camp experience (some are weather dependent).

Growing Your Independence

Being away from home during the day builds confidence and helps you become more independent. Doing kapers, trying different activities, learning new skills, and being part of a team will challenge you to grow and achieve exciting things.

9:00 a.m. Campers arrive / Opening Flag Ceremony

9:30 a.m. Camp programming

12:30 p.m. Lunch

1:30 p.m. Camp programming

3:30 p.m. Closing Flag Ceremony

4:00 p.m. Campers depart

Camp Staff

It’s all about the Girl Scouts. Campers are supported by our fully trained staff whose focus is ensuring each Girl Scout has the best experience possible. Staff are trained to help you challenge yourself as you try new activities, expand your friendship circles, and become active members of the camp community. You’ll be cheered on by talented, experienced, and caring adults who serve as role models and caretakers. Supporting you to be your best, camp staff have a genuine desire to work with Girl Scouts and are trained in areas like first aid and CPR, emergency procedures, child development, working through homesickness, team building, and more.
