Camp Alice Chester

Camp Alice Chester Overnight Camp

Pack your bags and grab your water bottle, it is time for Summer Camp!  Whether you are swimming in the lake, paddling in a canoe, building a fire, or reaching new heights on our rock wall, there are more activities and adventures than you can imagine waiting for you at Camp Alice Chester!

Camp Alice Chester is an overnight camping experience for girls in grades one through twelve, where you can explore the outdoors with trained camp staff. Whether you stay five nights or 13, you will learn leadership skills, gain independence, and earn badges while making new friends! Of course we won’t forget roasting s’mores around the campfire! A week at Camp Alice Chester will be a week she will never forget!

Meet our Camp Director: Chris “Lemme” Friedl, Camp & Outdoor Experience Manager

Lemme is fantastically excited for Summer 2021! She has been working for GSWISE for the past 9 years and grew up as a Girl Scout at GSWISE. She spent every summer at Camp Alice Chester from the time she was 10 years old until she was 19, and then has spent her entire 30 year career working with camps and youth.

Outside of Girl Scouts, Lemme spends time with her family camping and kayaking. She has a 10-year-old daughter who is a Girl Scout and loves camp as much as she does!

Our Staff

Our remarkable staff includes college students and educators from the United States and countries around the world. They’re compassionate, energetic and fun. They go through intensive training in youth development, activity skills, and safety procedures to help serve as outstanding role models for your daughter. We use a selective hiring process to screen applicants, including background checks.
