Outdoor Experiences toggle arrow

8 in 10 girls stated that Girl Scouts gave them opportunities to access outdoor activities they had never done before or wouldn’t have done otherwise. Access to the outdoors gives Girl Scouts a chance to try new things, build independence, and develop a lifelong appreciation for nature. In the last year, we saw a 48% increase in campers needing financial assistance. Help Girl Scouts experience nature and the joy that comes with it.

We’re here for all Girl Scouts. GSWISE’s Community Outreach team brings staff- and volunteer-led bilingual programming to Girl Scouts in diverse communities through schools and community programs. Trained staff guide Girl Scouts through activities based in the outdoors, STEM, life skills, and entrepreneurship. Bring the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to every Girl Scout, everywhere.

Self-Esteem & Mental Health toggle arrow

For many girls, self-esteem begins to erode at age 8, dropping up to 30% by age 14. The Girl Scout Research Institute reported that two-thirds of girls state that Girl Scouts supports their mental health. GSWISE offers early leadership roles, which help build the self-esteem, confidence, and resilience girls need to challenge themselves throughout life. Give Girl Scouts access to activities that help them take a break from life stressors in a safe, supportive environment.
