Silver Award Project: Nature Station at Chinook Program Center

Josie, Anna, Mikaela, and Brooklyn improved the Nature Station at Chinook Program Center by building new, lightweight boot racks on wheels, purchasing frog-catching nets, and constructing bird houses and a bug hotel. They also laminated taxonomic keys for educational purposes and created a history of the pond. Their goal was to enhance the camper experience and ensure the Nature Station remains a favorite, with sustainable improvements benefiting future campers.
