Aiming to reduce microplastics in water and landfill waste and create lasting environmental change in Kenosha, Gianna, Taylor, and Tyler focused on educating the community about recycling, microplastics, landfills, and composting. They created engaging games, presented information, and distributed reusable bags to encourage sustainable habits. They educated kids and adults at a local farmers market about reducing plastic waste and using compost, with hands-on demonstrations like landfi ll and compost models.
