Silver Award Project: Beautifying Bronzeville one Cigarette Butt at a Time
After seeing a neighborhood plagued with unsightly litter, including cigarette butts, Girl Scout Georgia, Zoe, Nicole, Hannah, Brooklyn, and Aniela in Troop 8698 researched the negative impacts cigarettes have on the environment, mounted interactive polling ashtrays at bus stops on busy roads in Milwaukee, and recycled them through TerraCycle’s program.
